This‘colourfule-products’solutionprovidesawelcomestepforwardnowthatscientistsincreasinglyaccessinformationonline.Scientistsinmanydisciplinesneedtobeabletopublishtheirworkincolour,butthecostofcolourprintinginsmall,specialisedjournalscanbeprohibitiveandwerealisethatnotallscientistshaveappropriatefundstocoverthecharges.
Authorswishingtomakeuseofthisfacilityshouldensurethat1)theartworkisinanacceptableformat(TIFF,EPSorMSOfficefiles)andatthecorrectresolution2)RGBcolourspaceisusedand3)forcolouronlineandblack&whiteinprint,bothcolourandblack&whiteartwork(fileand/orhardcopy)isprovided.
