摘要：A method of generating energy comprises expanding a gaseous working fluidfrom a charged high pressure level to a spent low pressure level to release energy, andregenerating the spent working fluid. The working fluid is regenerated by, in at least oneregeneration stage, condensing the working fluid in an absorption stage (A) by dissolvingit in a solvent solution while cooling with a cooling medium, the solvent solutioncomprising a solvent having an initial working fluid concentration which is sufficienttoprovide a solvent solution boiling range suitable for absorption of the working fluid;increasing the pressure of the solvent solution containing the dissolved working fluid bymeans of a pump (P) and evaporating the working fluid being regenerated by heating inan evaporation stage (E); withdrawing the evaporated working fluid for re-expansion torelease energy; and recycling the balance of the solvent solution remaining afterevaporation of the working fluid, to constitute the solvent solution for the absorptionstage of that regeneration stage.
