As a popular saying goes, "Time is money. "In fact, time is more precious than money. When money is spent, you can earn it back if you want to. However, when time is gone, it will never come back.As the pace of modern life continues to accelerate ,the time at our disposal is quite limited. But there are a lot of things to be done in our lives. We should make full use of our time to fulfil what is useful to us. For instance, as students we should devote most of our time to our academic studies. In this way we can acquire new knowledge and skill necessary for our future carrier.In my opinion, wasting time means wasting our valuable life. But many of us don't realize this .They think time is inexhaustable. I'm not in favor of such of a view .Hence ,my conclusion is that we should never put off what can be today until tomorrow.

Since I entered college I have felt a great burden off my mind and I just want to relax. So do my classmates. We enjoy playing cards and are very skillful at it. We seldom work on our lessons unless there is an examination. Then we work under pressure. I know it is not good， but what I lack is self control. Mat of us know it is a problem， and it is time we did something about it.
As youth， we are in the prime of our life. We should make good use of our golden time. The teachers take pains to teach us every day so that we can acquire more knowledge. We should not fail their expectations. I should not rest content with what I have done. Entering cnllege is just a step in the threshold of the palace of knowledge. The road is long. The modern age needs the well ecated. The future world is highly competitive. If we idle away our time while young wo shall regret it in vain when we are did.
From now on I will concentrate all my energy on my studies as to qualify myself as a talent in the 21st century. Time and tide wait for no man. I should value my time. What about you， my friend？

时间对于经济学者就是金钱，就是效率。随着改革开放的大潮，时间越来越被人们重视，往日工作散怠，做一天和尚撞一天钟，吃大锅饭的现象越来越少，呈现在眼前的是抓紧时间创造效益，创造财富。
珍惜时间就是珍惜生命，生命对于每个人都很重要，我们每个人都应好好地珍惜时间，创造自己的生命价值。

珍惜时间
进入大学以来，我感到甩掉了沉重的包袱，只想轻松轻松，我的同学也是。我们玩牌既熟练又快活。除了应付考试之外，我们很少看书，有压力时才学习。我知道这样不好，可我还是缺乏自我控制能力。我们大多数人都认识到这个问题，是该着手解决问题的时候了。

In life, men are controlled by time. They are always fighting against it. If time is not seen, man will not be so anxious. Think too much about it for time alone controls every action of man. At leisure, spend some time to foster and nurture your mind and spirit. Time waits for no man but time surely will make us old men. My father when he was seventy years old told me that it was just like yesterday that he was a boy. Occasionally, I bump into my old friends and classmates, seeing them, I could feel like what my father said. Looking at myself, and youngsters started calling me uncle, time is really very precious. How much longer can I contribute to mankind and how much can you contribute to mankind! As we cannot rewind the clock and we can't catch up with money no matter how fast we run after them, why not spend a little time each day seeking the real meaning of life. Fulfill the purpose of life so that it will not be sunk into a loss and an illusion of the past, the present and the future.

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. Do you know what is youth? How do you master your youth?
Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to st .
Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.
